While it appears the LED technology has been crawling for years and that it is novel, this technology has been around for almost 100 years and is poised to render the traditional means of lighting extinct. As costs drop and the technology improves, it is growing in popularity, poised to become the sole source of lighting for households, businesses and every application imaginable.
